Training Sessions

The club runs weekly coached and group sessions catering for all abilities and experience levels. In addition, members also receive detailed weekly training plans. There are specific plans to suit every level, from those that are new to triathlon up to those training for a full-distance Ironman.

Training sessions for 2023 are as follows:

Running Session
Returns from March 22nd
Wednesday 7:45 – 9 pm in Naas AC track / K Leisure Naas
Car park depending on track availability.

Turbo
Thursday 7.45 – 9 pm 
Venue: Naas Community National School or alternative Online Zoom session.
Gear – Bike, turbo trainer, towel, water

Swimming Session
Saturday 7-8am in Kilashee Leisure Centre
(Note – doors open from 6.45 – 7am only)
Fee: €5 paid at the door
Gear – Goggles, hat, water and if possible pull buoy, paddles, fins

Group Cycles
Sunday 8.30am in K-Leisure Car Park, Naas
Gear – helmet, water/nutrition.
Depending on conditions warm clothing, lights & mudguards may be needed.

Novice Training

Novices: If you’re new to the sport now is the perfect time to get started. Naas Tri Club has separate training plans for beginners and the Novice training group will gradually introduce new members to swimming biking and running through our weekly training sessions and ensure you’re ready to confidently take on your first triathlon.
