Training Sessions

Due to the current restrictions on indoor training sessions, we will only have a limited number of training sessions available between now and Christmas.

We will take our usual break period from 1st Oct to Mid Nov and then our we will recommence our weekly training programme for members to follow.

Winter Training Sessions are as follows:

Monday: Running Session

Monread Park, Naas @ 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Thursday: Zoom Turbo Session

8:00 to 9:00 pm

Sunday: Group Cycles Meeting

K-Leisure Car Park, Naas @ 8:30 am

Novice Training

Novices: If you’re new to the sport now is the perfect time to get started. Naas Tri Club have separate training plans for beginners and the Novice training group will gradually introduce new members to swimming biking and running though our weekly training sessions and ensure you’re ready to confidently take on your first triathlon. Please note that due to Covid-19 we have introduced new protocols for our training sessions:

1)  Members should download the Bookfit App and book in advance for Running, Turbo and Sunday Cycling sessions – this is to facilitate contact tracing

2)  Members should adhere to social distancing rules at all times (masks are not required)

3)  Members should bring a floor mat/towel and sanitising spray to Turbo sessions and ensure they clean their personal space before leaving.
