Training Sessions

The club runs weekly coached and group sessions catering for all abilities and experience levels. In addition, members also receive detailed weekly training plans. There are specific plans to suit every level, from those that are new to triathlon up to those training for a full-distance Ironman.

Winter 2024/25 Training Sessions:

Mondays (Nov-Dec)
Strength & Conditioning
Craddockstown School Hall
8:00-9:00pm

Thursdays
Turbo – Online 7:30pm

Saturdays
Swimming Session
7:00-8:00am in Killashee Leisure Centre (November – April)
(Note – doors open from 6.45 – 7:00 only)
Fee: €5 paid at the door
Gear – goggles, hat, water and if possible pull buoy, paddles, fins

Sundays
Group Cycles
Leaving K-Leisure at 8:30am
Levels – 23kph, 25kph, 28kph average speed
Gear – helmet, water/nutrition warm clothing
Rear lights & mudguards required

Novice Training

Novices: If you’re new to the sport now is the perfect time to get started. Naas Tri Club has separate training plans for beginners and the Novice training group will gradually introduce new members to swimming biking and running through our weekly training sessions and ensure you’re ready to confidently take on your first triathlon.
